Traffic buffer

Many constructions sites along roads are giving too high risk for the workers bercause of the short distance fromt the traffic and the high speed. Road maintenance and construction sites are also giving collision risk for the ordinary traffic. Inattentive drivers may drive into unfinished constructions or heavy machines on the construction site. The Bergma traffic buffers should be placed at an appropriate distance before the working area in order to stop the cars softly without any injuries or damage on the working site and with small consequences for drivers and passengers. The Bergma traffic buffer was successfully tested in 2009 according to the specifications from the Swedish Road Authority. The collision speed was 100 km/h. The weight of the car used in the test was 2000 kg.
